Eric Dezenhall is a Washington, D.C.-based writer and damage control consultant. He is President of Dezenhall Resources, a crisis management firm with offices in Washington, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and London. He has developed a model for how media-hyped attacks on businesses and public figures are "packaged" to fit an entertainment format.

Eric frequently lectures in academic and business circles, and regularly appears as a damage control expert in the international media, including network television and radio, NPR, CNN, Fox, CNBC, C-Span, MSNBC, "Hardball with Chris Matthews," "The O'Reilly Factor," "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and The Washington Post. He is also noted in the national media for his expertise on Internet-generated attacks or "flaming." For more information, contact DezResInfo@dezenhall.com.

In addition to the novels, Money Wanders (St. Martin's, 2002) and Jackie Disaster (Minotaur, 2003), Eric is the author of Nail 'Em! His next novel, Shakedown Beach, will be published in 2004 by St. Martin's Minotaur.

He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he studied political science and the news media. As an investigative writer, Eric won acclaim when he uncovered the diaries of the late mobster, Meyer Lansky, which were featured in articles he wrote for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, the Baltimore Sun, The New Republic, and Ethical Corporation.
